The Buffalo Water Beer Company recently partnered with local radio stations 102.9 The Hog and WKLH 96.5 classic rock to get our name out there, and to fill the void in the hearts of that Buffalo wing-eating/beer drinking demographic. So our CEO and beer enthusiast, Craig Peterson, popped along to the studio and recorded a splendid radio commercial to please the ears of all Milwaukeeans.
However, realizing that many don't adhere to traditional means of communication, and that the new generation gets their info elsewhere (and by elsewhere we mean the Internet), we created this little You Tube montage for you. It's the same radio commercial, edited with images for the web and for your enjoyment. Like the video says, there's no need to thank us, really....
(If necessary, you may want to pause the Buffalo Soldier theme song on our home page first so you can here the content of the following video!)
Buffalo Water on You Tube...

Blondes Galore at the Donges Bay Clubhouse
Like Blondes? Who doesn't? Then get over to the Donges Bay Clubhouse, 7520 W. Donges Bay Road, for some Buffalo Water Bison Blonde Lager. The clubhouse, located in Mequon, a suburb just north of Milwaukee, is the latest bar to join the herd of Buffalo Water beer drinkers.
Its "corner" bar atmosphere is popular with the locals, and the Clubhouse features weekly kickball and horseshoe tournaments, perfect for the upcoming summer months. As is a nice pint of Bison Blonde Lager.
The bar's food menu is standard pub fare, featuring a delicious BBQ Chicken breast on a toasted Kaiser roll. It should go down well with a Blonde. And of course the appetizer menu features some hot & spicy buffalo wings and chicken strips dipped in BBQ sauce. Surely a match made in heaven for Buffalo Water beer. All this talk of wings and beer is making my mouth water. Better take an early lunch.
Why not take a trip to the Donges Bay Clubhouse for your lunch? I'm up for it!
Buffalo Water Beer Co. Sponsors "the Quizmaster!"
The Buffalo Water Beer Company recently announced its sponsorship of Milwaukee Quizmaster, a pub quiz/trivia night service offered to several bars in Milwaukee and the surrounding area.
Milwaukee Quizmaster offers team trivia for friends and colleagues at several of the areas best taverns, including the Milwaukee Ale House, the Carleton Grange Pub, the Britinn, Fanatics, and the 5th Ward Pub. Teams are tested on their abilities to answer general knowledge questions in a variety of topics, with the best teams winning prizes on the night.
Buffalo Water now sponsors "the Quizmaster," with our delicious brew, Bison Blonde Lager, being served up at both "the Ale House" and "the Grange." And what's more, full 20 ounce pints of Bison Blonde are only $2.50 every Monday night during the Quizmaster's trivia night at the Ale House. This event is hosted every Monday night, starting at 8 p.m. The event usually runs for around 2 hours, with the winning team receiving $50 and the runners-up winning $25.
And it's lots of fun!
Teams are permitted up to 8 players per team, cell phone/Internet use is prohibited and its only $1 per person to play. For a full description of rules, times, prizes and drink specials we encourage to visit the Quizmaster's website by clicking here.
Buffalo Trivia
Some interesting stuff about or related to Buffalo:
Adopted January 31, 1917, the Flag of Wyoming (pictured) features a buffalo. The state's seal appears branded on the bison's ribs.
Buffalo Soldier was the original nickname of the U.S. 10th Cavalry regiment of the United States Army (pictured), given to them by the native Americans they fought.
Buffalo Water Launches Its Online Store
Beer gear: we'll never really understand it. Understand why certain people are obsessed with wearing clothing featuring the logo of their fave brew? It's not like you ever see anyone wearing a "Captain Birdseye's Fish Fingers" T-Shirt or "Lawry's Seasoned Salt" baseball cap? For some reason people are just drawn to wearing crap plastered with beer insignia on it.
And why we're sure there's a reason for this, we're not a bunch of psychologists, so we'll just leave it at that.
However, considering this strange phenomenon, the Buffalo Water Beer Company has decided to launch its very own beer gear store, aptly named "Buffalo Crap."
Excuse our French.
The store opened in April 2008, featuring 9 products to begin with, including the likes of BBQ aprons, t-shirts, hooded sweaters, wall clocks and more! We encourage you to visit our online store by clicking on the appropriate tab at the top of the screen (the one with the steaming pile next to it) to get your hands on some good shit. Or you can simply click here.
Bison Blonde Lager Goes On Tap at the Carleton Grange Pub
"Oi, mate! What's that wicked new beer at the Grange?"
The Carleton Grange Pub, 3807 S Packard Avenue, now carries our delicious Bison Blonde Lager. The traditional British pub, started by Eric Ellsworth after a study abroad in London, has a limited domestic tap line, however, Buffalo Water is now available. While mainly concentrating on ye 'olde imports like Newcastle Brown Ale, Carlsberg and Stella Artois (oh, wait that's owned by Anheuser Busch now), there's also a select domestic tap selection at the "Grange."
So, if you're in the St. Francis area along Lake Michigan's shores, why not stop in, say 'ello geezer and treat yourself to a bloody scrumptious craft brew (that's Bison Blonde Lager by the way).
For an up-to-date list of places currently carrying Bison Blonde Lager visit our On Tap page by clicking here.
